I'm afraid I have no idea why you use such an aggresive tone.
I was merely giving some historical background on the club and it's ground, which I thought you may have been interested in, especially as it also answered your query.
Pardon me for taking the time to find out for you. I spent many years researching the club for the programme when I did it. I was just passing on info.
Maybe I was just supposed to agree with what you said without trying to find an answer.
God forbid that a discussion should break out on a discussion forum. Whatever next!
Again Mr Man you read far too much between the lines, chill winston! never meant to wind you up!
Hats off to ya for the valuble information you have given me and the many other people who use this forum, you are obviously a prized asset and i stand corrected on the fact that the council have left in memory for the people who lived and played in or for Redhill during the 1914-1918 conflict and the 1939-1945 conflict a decent memorial!
Because obviously thats all these men and women deserve a piece of land and no real memory of who, why, where or when, god forgive if we broke the bank and had a statue with names and dates on and a reason that people could see and appreciate. Again i'll quote a memorial park with no memorial, quite ironic would'nt you say?
If we forget the past we'll only get lost in the future.Statistics: Posted by red1 — Wed Oct 19 2005, 13:00
