Only for 5 years playing for your Vets!! Dont tell Johnsy! We won 2-1 - very one sided untill the injured man dog brought himself on with 30 mins left and us 2-0 up. He decided we would play 3-4-3 ... ! Problems followed thereafter...

5 years... what can I say, I am taking more of an interest these days as the 1 game a month vets schedule seems more and more attractive, give it a few years and I will be signing on myself!

Having played on your pitch yesterday (Vaterans!) must be tricky for anyside to play soccer - it used to be a lot better - someone lost the Roller?

The pitch is not great at our place and hasnt been for a couple of years now, due to it being a council pitch we rely on them to do most of the work on it which isnt great. it was bad for us on Saturday and can imagine it was only worse on Sunday.

i expect it is quite hard to get a roller up to the pitch as the first bit of the rec is always very wet.
