Yes
I went and watched a very entertaining game, 6-2 to Bexhill, good crowd but the heavy rain probably put off a few

Last nightat the Polegrove, the many fans who stayed away because of either the rain or Chelsea, would have missed a very memorable occasion. I was greatly impressed with the fact, that Mr. Poyet could have gone to Stamford Bridge in a box, but instead to support his team of action in the community which Andy Stoodley stands out, along with our very own Tracy Aston on behalf of our club did both parties extremely proud.

We had youngsters actively involved in a penalty shoot out competition, we had a demo from Gullys Girls along with young ladies from Spot line dance studios all making a huge impact on the night.

Ok we did have some rain which was heavy at times, but it did nothing to dampen the spirits of the players or the crowd who came along to watch, and yes they got their moneys worth when Gus scored a goal to put his team only 3-1 behind only for them to conceed another three more.
Scorers for Bexhill were Andy Garman, Martin Denny, Dominic Bristow with two and Daniel Terrier Hill with two.
Crowd total is still unclear owing to the large amount of change etc that was handled on the night and total monies monies to be distributed is also unclear, but to every one connected with making the event so very special and also for putting the name of Bexhill United Football Club back on the map thank you very much.
