at wick this season, our first manager resigned and we asked the league to cancel our saturday game as there was no manager which they did and was rearranged, then the next manager resigned and we could not fulfil the fixture against loxwood. loxwood where given the three points.........so it can be done

What are the penalties for not fulfilling a fixture?

In my opinion these should be high so that clubs will then make every effort to complete the fixture.
Special circumstances could allow the league to allow the re-arrangement of 1 game.

£500 quid for the 1st game then it doubles up after that to £1000 then £2000 so in three games it £3500 not cheap but also not fair to some clubs depending on where the clubs are in the league.
many years ago the sunday league had a situation where a team failed to fulfil its last fixture so they kicked them out and deducted all the points which cost i believe Durrington the league title.......... so what choices do the league have?

SCFL Handbook page 126/127

8.3 Causing Abandonment - Up to a Maximum Fine of £500.00
8.6 Failure to fulfil fixture - Up to a Maximum Fine of £250.00
8.9 Failure to start with Eleven Players - Up to a Maximum Fine of £50.00
8.9 Failure to play full strength team - Up to a Maximum Fine of £50.00

Fines for Division Three will be a maximum of 75% and 50% for Reserve and Youth Games

And carrying on the negative news for Chichester, today's game hd been cancelled as they again are unable to raise a team. Really bleak outlook for Chichester City I feel.
