A1Fc 2-5 Battle Reserves
Referee had an accident on the way to the game so this was referred by I believe the A1 manager... Have to say possibly the best referee we've had this season! Battle were 2-0 up early on through Mark O'Regan and Luke Chart and looking like they could win comfortably...2 substitutions through injury and a combination of A1 waking up and Battle easing off led to a nailed on penalty cooly dispatched 2-1 half time. Slow start to the second half from battle and A1 could and probably should have been level before an o.g made it 3-1. First half substitute Sam Cronin then made it 4-1 before another goal was pulled back 4-2. Battle wrapped it up late on when Sam Cronin grabbed his second. Up next Hillbarn where a win for battle wins them the league and any other result leaves it open for Hillbarn to take the title

Raeburn 3 - 2 Real Rosehill.

Raeburn headed into the game with 5 first teamer's missing and playing with 2 injured CB's. Reaburn did not play pretty football but defended very well and restricted Rosehill to 1 shot at goal in the first half.
Reaburn completely dominated in the air and the long throw in worked wonders and caused all sorts of problem which lead to the first to corners of the game which were drilled in by Tommy G and put away by Sam G and then Ben May. Steve Bridge was put through ion goal and turned their CB inside out before slotting away.
3 nil at the half.
Rosehild played a 3-4-3 formation in the second half but again did not really cause many problems and Raeburn should have extended their lead. Rosehill's tricky winger skipped off the line and drilled a shot past our GK. Then almost immediately later he had another shot, very week, which was a routine save for our GK only for him to let it roll through is legs.
Raeburn held on with 10 mins remaining.

Black Horse 0 - 5 Withdean Grange

Withdean Grange continued their impressive form with a comfortable win in what was percieved a tricky encounter. The game was moved to Preston Park which meant an uneven pitch could have been a leveller and prevented Grange from applying their normal passing style.

Although only 1-0 at half time, Grange appeared in control and the incident leading up to the third goal ended any revival hopes as a Black Horse centre back was dismissed for clearly handling a definite goal-bound effort.
