Thanks so much for all your support guys - it really is appreciated.

Bognor Regis Town FC have been in contact with me this evening after hearing of our interest in a memorial match so will hopefully have some more news very shortly.

Please continue to pledge your support for either playing or helping out in any other way - it really is appreciated.

Was speaking to Gareth (ex Rusty G) last night and he very much wants to be involved in whatever is arranged.

Would love to be involved if required. May even be able to supply a kit.

Just to update everyone in case you thought it had gone a bit quiet - I am still waiting for confirmation of some details from Bognor, who I suspect are also waiting for info at their end. As soon as I know anything I will post it here.

And I have a £500 donation for a kit from '[removed!]'.

He'd pay anything to get a game...

That is fantastic news and very generous. Is there anyone out there prepared to help with actually getting the kit. I don't know about anybody else but I think it needs to be in the site livery of yellow, white and navy blue in some combination, preferably with the 'Nomad' logo. Presumably different manufacturers have a range of designs.

I did actually contact the Chichester Observer and asked whether they would be interested in sponsoring the kit, perhaps even with Ben's name. I haven't heard back for a week so will follow this up.

I will also chase Bognor and see how things are developing as there isn't a lot of time. The kit is a major boost though - can we get it sorted out in time. The provisional date was Sunday 15 July, but this still has to be confirmed formally.

Kit will be sorted in time but £500 is a tight budget so if anyone wants to stump up for a 'club badge' on the shirts please feel free! The price includes GK kit, numbering and donaters logo.

The kit I'm looking at for a very good quote is yellow/blue/yellow in varying degrees of the design and is Pro Star (2007). Will keep you posted.

If the donator has a logo to add as sponsor then that's fine and entirely apppropriate, although as mentioned above I had also asked the Observer if they might be interested (albeit unlikely).

With regards the Nomad logo, I am happy to pay for that as long as it is not too pricey (cheapskate that I am).

Keep me posted re: designs. It would nice to have something a little unusual if the budget stretches to it ... albeit not those something as vile as we saw in the 80s

Nah this isn't a 'trendy' type kit. And if we had another sponsor thats fine, their name could go above the numbers on the back. I'll let you know regarding a Nomad badge.
