I could be wrong but kenny pogue wasn't a county league player in the nelson tiger days was he? Stuart playford obv was and he was still very decent when we played against them in tigers first of two seasons. They didn't make it to a third season tho as half the team went off to play county league (or reserve county league) football. They were mainly a bunch of coke heads back then anyway.

I don't honestly see how any league can stop players dropping down, moving around etc from one season to the next or during a season. When you end up with 800 players signed on to the esfl by the end of each season, how on earth can you regulate who plays for what team. It would take too much man power and that's something all teams at t his level do not have.

I'm not saying its a bad idea, I'm just saying its difficult to police....

i am indeed,we had another good win today. 1st team have taken a couple of our players now tho. there's a lot of players who play down in the lower leagues who could play a lot higher.

thats the reason im playing there,my 2 best mates are the managers and i wont play for the 1st team!joint top goalscorer now after yesterday. if we win the league then no doubt they will push us up a couple of leagues.

The league will only jump you a league or two if you ask Aaron. 13 goals is a good haul so far, but having been in that league last year, its pretty poor to be honest. And it looks worse this year.
