Haywards Heath Town v Faversham Town

Postby fanbase » Wed Feb 20 2019, 10:07

Haywards Heath Town played Faversham Town in the Bostik League South East looking to extend their winning run to 6. The first half was fairly non eventful with both sides creating chances but failing to convert them into goals. Haywards Heath made one change for the second half with Keiran Rowe returning from injury and it was he who opened the scoring on 66 minutes when he tapped in from close range. On 88 minutes the Heath made sure of the points when Trevor McCreadie got to the ball first and slotted the ball past the keeper. This 2-0 win keeps the Heath in 5th place in the league, level on points with Horsham and Ashford United above them.
